Classes
Classes are a good way to give your student a comprehensive review of all the material the SAT will cover. Classes will focus equally on math, reading and writing skills that will help your student with both the knowledge and the techniques he or she needs to score well on the test. Our summer classes are flexible and we are often able to accommodate any scheduling challenges you may have during the summer.
Start Date: July 5, 2010
This class begins on Monday the 5th of July at 10:00 a.m. We will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday for two weeks, as well as Monday of the third week. Our last session will be July 19, 2010. The first session will be a simulated exam and so will end at 2:00 p.m. All other sessions will end at 1:00 p.m. Please keep in mind the classes are conducted in my home in Wellington’s Edge. I never accept more than five students per class. Once the class has ended, it is highly recommended that you continue your prep with weekly individual sessions until the October exam.

One-on-one SAT Prep
One-on-one sessions are an excellent addition, and in some cases alternative, to classes. Individual sessions will allow your student to build on the foundational knowledge and skills gained in a group setting and to really focus in on specific difficulties. Some students may bypass classes altogether in favor of focusing more specifically on one problem area – be that math, reading or writing. Individualized prep is a highly recommended option for those students who have already taken the SAT, have a good idea of where their strengths and weaknesses lie, and are motivated to really focus on problem spots.
Simulations
Included in our sessions are two simulated exams, one at the beginning and one at the end of the course. These simulations are designed to give us an idea of your student’s current scores as well as which areas need the most attention. We distinguish ourselves from other tutoring companies by tailoring our class content to fit your student’s specific needs.
